| About Fourth Ward: | |
| Charlotte’s Fourth Ward currently has the most residential residents of any ward, but has come a long way since the late 1960’s. In the early 1970’s, Hugh McColl Jr. and Dennis Rash joined together to transform Fourth Ward into what it is today. Currently Fourth Ward is home to The Mint Museum, The Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, and the McColl Center for Visual Arts, The Discovery Place, and the Belk Theatre.
